Sustainabull was slapped as the 2020 National Western Intermediate Champion bull, in addition to bringing home the banner as 2019 American Royal Reserve Grand Champion and ranking third on the 2020 Ring of Gold standings. However, Sustainabull is much more than just a pretty face; he is the true cowman’s kind. He is deep ribbed, easy fleshing, wide topped, rugged-made, and strides out on a big foot. We look for him to sire a balanced mix of calving ease, growth and maternal performance, carcass and longevity while passing along his docile disposition.

Sustainabull boasts an 82-pound actual birth weight while busting the scales with a 205-day weight of 851 pounds. He generated a weaning ratio of 122 for his phenotypically perfect first-calf General Patton dam, who just happens to be a full sister to the up-and-coming Judd Ranch herdsire, Prescribed Remedy.

Consensus C026 has been one of our most consistent producers for several years. With nearly 50 calves in the registry to date, and probably twice as many produced from our commercial herd, his progeny have averaged a modest 77 pounds at birth. His contemporary groups are soggy made with plenty of muscle and very consistent in their pattern. His sons are thick-topped with large testicles, while his daughters are big-bodied with tight udder attachments and small teats. Consensus C026 consistently produces sire groups recognized around the farm for their extremely docile dispositions.

While Consensus C026 progeny are definitely production-oriented beef-packing machines, they are also very attractively made and are typically some of the first bulls selected from the pen each year. One of his heifer calves was successfully shown, being named Reserve Champion Intermediate Heifer at the 2019 American Royal Junior Show.
